Dr. Stacey Tatro grew up in the Chicagoland area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It was here that she discovered her love for serving her community and where she chose her path to dentistry through several pre-dental and community organizations. Dr. Tatro continued her education at UIC College of Dentistry where she earned her doctorate degree in dental medicine. After graduation, she began her dental career as a Captain in the United States Air Force. She completed 4 years of military service as a dentist. It was during her Air Force career that she found her passion for Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Tatro completed extensive training with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and earned her Diplomate Status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

After her service in the Air Force, Dr. Tatro moved to Northwest Indiana to be closer to family. She practiced as an associate dentist for 6 years before deciding to focus solely on her passion for Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Tatro founded Restful Region LLC to bring oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea to our neighbors throughout the region. Dr. Tatro is excited to be able to focus her career on dental sleep medicine and is eager to meet new patients to provide them with their OSA therapy needs.
